Composed for a Year 6 graduation ceremony, the song celebrates the people who have guided the students so far on their journey. The lyrics reflect finding your own unique spirit in the light of a flame from a lantern, then protecting and keeping it aglow.
 
It is scored for a general unison choir with the option of adding a descant part for a small group of singers. It also has percussion and xylophone parts to add to the arrangement.
