This piece is based on the native animals featured on the Australian coat of arms. It references the idea that these two animals can only move forward, symbolising the nation looking forward toward the future, standing tall and proud. The two animals have also long been an important part of indigenous culture for our First Nations people in Australia.
 
The piece is a cappella with lively mixed-metre rhythms throughout. Add claves or other percussion to the piece to enhance the rhythms.
